CERIIDD’s Research Purpose:
Increase in understanding in the health profiles of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who recipients of Medicaid and also receiving Medicaid funded long-term services and supports (LTSS)
To disseminate data-based evidence to encourage the improvement of health systems, increase self-determination, and reduce health disparities experienced by individuals with I/DD
CERIIDD Data Briefs are targeted and timely one or two-page research summaries on topics critical to individuals with I/DD. Data Briefs cover a broad range of topics including sustaining new and innovative services, the impact of healthcare reform on individuals with I/DD, and addressing the direct support professional workforce crisis.
